New Contact Lens Wearer Procedure and Follow-up:

1. Learn how to use your contacts lenses: insertion, removal, inversion, cleaning and care. Please review the instruction videos on our website.
2. The trial lens you begin using is usually an easier lens to insert and remove. At your follow-up appointment you may be given a different contact lens.
3. Wearing schedule: begin with 1-2  hours the first day and add up to 2 hours each day.  Do not exceed 8 hours of wear until after your first follow-up appointment.  Remove contact lenses before sleeping. Do not let water get on your contact lenses. Water can contaminate and damage contact lenses. Follow cleaning and disinfecting procedures. 
4.  Follow-up visit is scheduled approximately 5 days after your training appointment. This visit will answer questions and check your contact lens progress.
5. Lost/damaged/uncomfortable contact lens? Do not wear a damaged, torn or uncomfortable contact lens. Notify the office if a lens is damaged, lost or uncomfortable.
